Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide circulation and reference services, assisting users with effective searches using the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), online databases, and journals.
∎ Respond to ready-reference, directional, and other library inquiries.
∎ Catalogue print and digital materials following international standards such as MARC 21 and AACR2, utilising the Integrated Library System (ILS) Koha; update and edit existing catalogue records as needed.
∎ Conduct training sessions on using online catalogues, discovery tools, institutional repositories, databases, and online journals, including strategies for effective searching.
∎ Install, maintain, and update library software and websites.
∎ Perform additional tasks as assigned by the authority.
