Role Description The Junior Associate will support the firm’s legal work by conducting legal research, drafting documents, preparing case files, and assisting in court and client-related matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing case materials, preparing summaries and briefs, attending client meetings with senior lawyers, and helping manage deadlines and documentation. The role also involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and ethical legal support. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Qualifications
Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and legal documents.
Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including notices, petitions, contracts, and memoranda.
Attention to detail in reviewing documents, organizing case files, and maintaining accurate records.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties in a professional manner.
Commitment to ethics, integrity, non-discrimination, and respect for the rule of law and the judiciary.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; enrollment in or eligibility for Bar Council is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with basic computer applications and legal research tools; prior internship or experience in a law firm is a plus.
