Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE
∎ Bachelor's degree in information security or any relevant disciplines from reputed universities.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage the entire lifecycle of penetration testing findings from discovery, triage, advising, remediation, and validation.
∎ Extensive understanding of TCP, UDP, HTTP, IP, and other network protocols.
∎ Seasoned use of well-known IT security tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, or Metasploit Framework, proficiency with scripting, and modifying open-source technologies
∎ Familiarity with common threat actor tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), adversary simulation and attack kill chains, security control evasion.
∎ A detailed understanding of how to triage vulnerabilities using CVSS calculators and the ability to validate security related findings.
∎ Experience executing effective email phishing campaigns with custom domains, website hosting, payload delivery, credential harvesting, and additional components in this area.
∎ Plan and execute full life cycle offensive operation. This includes project scoping, RFP/SoW work, performing the vulnerability assessment, penetration test, communicating progress with clients, writing professional quality reports, presenting findings to executive and technical audiences.
∎ Perform Vulnerability Assessment/Penetration Test that often includes Infrastructure, Web Application, API (Application Programming Interface), Mobile Application, Wireless, Build and Configuration Review and Social Engineering (Phishing), networked devices such as firewall, routers, switches, load balancers, operating systems (Windows & Linux) etc. Therefore, network transmission understanding is a requirement.
∎ Perform security testing using PTES (Penetration Testing Execution Standard) process, OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) guides and OSSTMM (Open-Source Security Testing Methodology) methodology.
∎ Drafting reports of findings and recommendations for remediation.
∎ Understanding and familiar with SOC (Security Operation Center) and its level and functions, Defensive security operational tools (SIEM, SOAR, Vulnerability Scanner, Firewall (WAF/IPS/IDS), AV/EDR, PAM, DLP), Digital Forensics, Cryptography, Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering.
∎ Understanding security architecture like DiD (Defence in Depth), Zero Trust Model, Application Protection, Encryption Technologies, etc.
∎ Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK Framework, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting and Threat Modeling.
∎ Ability to understand business problems and processes. Can detect security problems of the organization's threat, risk, and vulnerability.
∎ Capable of managing multiple projects at once.
∎ Great written (Penetration Testing Report) and verbal communication is a must
