Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a smart, responsible, and resourceful Knit Merchandiser to source materials and help plan for custom tees and polo shirt manufacturing.
∎ Bit Body Bangladesh Limited (BBBL) is a fully owned subsidiary of Bit Body, Inc., USA. We manufacture custom made clothing for our clients globally under our own brand MTailor (www.MTailor.com). BBBL is looking for highly energetic professionals to work as Knit Merchandiser at its Dhaka office.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with the fabric mills and suppliers ahead to develop new fabrics & trims and finishes to reduce lead time
∎ Restock fabrics and trims as needed
∎ Find new suppliers of knit fabric and trims as required and work with US team to qualify the suppliers
∎ Communicate with factories on lab dip, fabric, proto submission based on set timeliness
∎ Communicate timelines and challenges with the US team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 29 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Extensive previous experience with Knit Garments (tees and polos)
∎ Good English and ability to communicate with the US team
∎ Prior merchandising experience
∎ Strong quantitative skills
∎ Previous experience using Microsoft Office and email, as well as working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
∎ Willingness to work out of the factory in Bogabari Bazar, Ashulia
∎ (preferred) short course on merchandising at BGMEA
Salary: Negotiable
