∎ Experience in using initiative and creativity to resolve problems, identifying suitable solutions and opportunities for improvement

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the proper maintenance of all computers and related equipment (including peripherals, printers, projectors, etc.) in all CSE computer labs and the Department of CSE. All equipment should remain in good working condition and be updated with the latest antivirus software and operating system updates
∎ Load and configure software programs, ensuring they are ready for each scheduled class before every semester starts.
∎ Perform regular software backups
∎ Monitor files and programs downloaded onto the computers to make sure spyware, malware, and other dangerous programs are not downloaded
∎ Provide general support to faculty and students in the lab
∎ Conduct regular inventory and maintenance on the computers in the lab and the department and log any equipment damage and malfunctions and make proper reports
∎ Diagnose and resolve minor hardware and technical issues to ensure operational efficiency
∎ Supervise the lab at all times to prevent theft or malicious use of equipment
∎ Set up and shut down the lab according to work hours
