Educational Requirements:
∎ 3 years Diploma in Medical Technology from any Government approved recognized Institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Lab. Technology Officer is responsible for performing all sorts of Laboratory Tests of the lininc follwoing the guidline of SOP.
∎ Ensure that testing procedures are followed in accordance with the national and WHO recognized laboratory safety standards and universal precautions are strictly maintained.
∎ Ensure lab safety by taking all required precautions to prevent spread of infection at the testing site.
∎ Ensure that all blood samples have the client's code number corresponding to the number in the client's file and on the client's card.
∎ Ensure to maintain all lab registers including test results as per approved guideline and to keep laboratory form in the client folder.
∎ Ensure that continuous supplies of all necessary test kits within the expiry period are available to the service.
∎ Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and test results and safeguard the dignity and privacy of patients.
∎ Implement lab quality system approach for internal quality assurance/ control in lab and testing process and support external quality control for testing.
∎ Prepare daily/ monthly consumption report and update all required information, necessary documents and other required supplies.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 3 years' experience in similar position with any diagnostic center/ private clinic or hospital.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Record keeping and documentation skills.
∎ Familiar with operating clinical software and excellent computer skills in MS Office application suite.
