Educational Requirements:
∎ 4years of Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage all aspects of business intelligence, data integrity and security
∎ Implement new business intelligence and data warehouse requirements through the use of SQL, ETL, business intelligence tools, and database programming and reporting tools.
∎ Develop, implement, and maintain ETL (extract, transform, and load) solutions to bring new data into the data warehouse. Develop optimized database design to achieve acceptable performance by tuning view, tables and indexes for proper response time.
∎ Develop new capabilities and architectures that capitalize on the development of client portal, and ad-hoc BI capabilities.
∎ Determine root cause problems for data integrity and data quality issues identified through QA or by business report owners.
∎ Full life-cycle development and maintenance of data warehouse, ETL, figure out the gaps to meet the business need and bridge them with proper solutions.
∎ Facilitate reporting or data inquiry or issue resolution sessions with Functional Users and technical team.
∎ Provide guidance on data requirements, data availability, and Reporting capabilities to users.
∎ Drive Data Dictionary standards.
∎ Enforce Data Security.
∎ Review all work products to assure reasonable compliance with departmental standards of documentation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Enterprise Business Intelligence experience.
∎ Relational database experience with Oracle, MSSQL or MySQL.
∎ 8 years + of experience managing and delivering as a BI professional/architect/manager.
∎ Expertise in data modeling, data warehouse design principles, and best practices.
∎ Knowledge on well-known BI tools like BoBJ, Tableau, MS Power BI, D3.JS, Open Source tools
∎ Demonstrated leadership and personnel/project management skills.
∎ Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
∎ Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.
∎ Highly self-motivated and directed.
∎ Keen attention to detail.
