Educational Requirements:
∎ PhD and Masters in the field of Urban Studies, Governance & Development Studies or related subject.
∎ Foreign university degree both in master and PhD level is required/ expected.
∎ Professional requirements: The candidate preferably needs to be Professor of Social Science or Urban and Rural Planning Discipline of any reputed public University of Bangladesh.
∎ Have in-depth academic and professional knowledge on SPSS.
∎ Have experience in qualitative data analysis through NVivo.
∎ Have experience in KoBo toolbox.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have at least 15 years’ professional experience as researcher blended with teaching and development practice.
∎ The candidate should have at least 25 research/consultancy experience.
∎ Implementing research projects and working as a consultant in international organizations such as French Development Agency, German Cooperation, ICCO Cooperation, Save the Children, World Fish Centre, and UN organizations etc is required.
∎ S/He should have at least 5 book chapter publications and 15 blind peer reviewed international journal article publications.
∎ S/He also should have at least 10 International conference proceedings.
∎ Work experience as development practitioner will add value.
