Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc)
∎ M. Sc. (Honours) in Library Science or Library Management.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining serial, records and updating the library database.
∎ Maintaining the circulation system (Issue and Return) of library books, materials, and equipment.
∎ Cataloging and classification of books, reports, and documents.
∎ Purchase and catalog books.
∎ Ensure students and teachers have access to library materials for classes, assignments, and recreational reading.
∎ Other relevant work of Library Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Ensuring that library services meet the needs of users.
∎ Proficiency in English (both verbal & written) is essential.
∎ Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
∎ Assist students, teachers, and staff in the selection of library materials and equipment.
∎ Coordinate the selection, ordering, circulation, and inventory of library/media materials.
∎ Develop a library collection that supports the school curriculum.
∎ Design an accessible, efficient, and inviting facility for student learning.
∎ Balance and maintain budget records for the library.
Salary: Negotiable
