Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters with 3 or 4 years Honour's degree in Information Science and Library Management from any recognized University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Library Management

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing library budgets and resources.
∎ Be responsible for developing a library and information resources center supporting teaching, independent research and learning in the university.
∎ Ensuring that library services meet the needs of users.
∎ Developing IT facilities in the library.
∎ Assisting readers to use computer equipment, conduct literature searches etc.
∎ Promoting the library's resources to users.
∎ Maintaining serial, records and update library database
∎ Maintaining the circulation system(Issue and Return)
∎ Provide user services, including addressing inquiries and document delivery
∎ Do bibliographic checks and searches
∎ e-Resource Management
∎ Maintaining news clipping service
∎ Knowledge on Library Management System
∎ Skills on cataloging and classification of books, reports and documents using library of congress subject descriptors and the Dewey decimal classification system

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ 5 years practical experience as Deputy Librarian in any recognized University.
