Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Curriculum Development: Designing and developing educational materials and curricula tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of adult learners, including those with literacy challenges.
∎ Needs Assessment: Conducting needs assessments to understand the literacy levels, learning preferences, and skill gaps of adult participants.
∎ Instructional Design: Creating engaging and effective learning experiences using various teaching methods, including, non-formal/ traditional classroom settings and online platforms.
∎ Material Adaptation: Adapting existing educational materials to ensure they are culturally relevant and appropriate for adult learners. Teacher Training: Developing and delivering training programs for teachers and facilitators, focusing on best practices in adult education and literacy.
∎ Program Evaluation: Evaluating the effectiveness of literacy and adult education programs and making recommendations for improvements.
