Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Summary:Akij Blue Pill Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Local Purchase Executive with a strong background in ICT, Technology, and Telco product procurement. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the timely sourcing and acquisition of goods and services from local vendors to support our tech-driven projects and client solutions.Key Responsibilities:
∎ Local Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local suppliers for ICT, Telco, and tech-related products (e.g., servers, networking equipment, software licenses, accessories, etc.).
∎ Purchase Requisition Handling: Process internal purchase requisitions, collect quotations, and prepare comparative statements for approval.
∎ Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
∎ Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance in the ICT and telecom sector.
∎ Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or compliance.
∎ Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier evaluations, and product specifications.
∎ Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure purchases comply with company policies and assist in internal/external audits when required.
∎ Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Technical, IT, Project, and Finance teams to meet project timelines and budget constraints.
