Education:
∎ Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital logistics and/or hospital WASH activities, medical waste management or linen management preferably in a hospital setting.

∎ A minimum Diploma or degree in Medical assistant or relevant accredited degree or Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Hospital WASH or a Medical Waste management or Linen management related field will be prioritized.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage the procurement (Non-SCI part), storage and distribution of supplies, including medical, cleaning and office materials.
∎ Monitor and maintain inventory levels and prepare timely requisitions to avoid stock-outs.
∎ Coordinate with vendors and partners for timely delivery of goods and services.
∎ Maintain records of received and dispatched items, ensuring accountability.
∎ Ensure access to clean and safe drinking water at the health facility.
∎ Monitor and maintain sanitation systems, including toilets, handwashing stations and waste disposal units.
∎ Support IPC and WASH specialist to Oversee the disposal of medical and general waste in compliance with health and safety protocols.
∎ Support the implementation of infection prevention and control (IPC) measures, including regular disinfection of the facility.
∎ Support IPC & WASH specialist to Conduct routine inspections of the PHCC to identify maintenance needs for WASH infrastructure.
∎ Coordinate minor repairs and ensure WASH facilities are always functional.
∎ Ensure the availability and proper use of hygiene materials, such as soap and disinfectants.
∎ Maintain accurate records of all logistics and WASH activities.
∎ Prepare and submit regular reports on supply usage, facility maintenance and hygiene activities.
∎ PHD is a not-for-profit organization, working in Bangladesh for more than 3 decades towards improving the life of the people, particularly of marginalized and the less privileged. PHD under the partnership of Save the Children, funded by ECHO is going to start the project activities e.g., outdoor service and mobilization at primary health care center in camp 21, Cox’s Bazar district.
∎ The logistics and WASH Assistant will assist IPC & WASH specialist and Logistics Officer to ensure support General logistics, Hospital water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) activities, Medical or general waste, Linen management and volunteers management to ensure smooth operations of the Field hospital. This position is essential for maintaining adequate supplies, clean water access, proper hospital waste disposal and safe hygiene practices within the health facility and surrounding areas.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Logistics Support:
