Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have a Diploma/Vocational in Mechanical/Electrical engineering with a minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any recognized institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
∎ Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
∎ Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures
∎ Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures
∎ Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality
∎ Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
∎ Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
∎ Planning and scheduling repairs.
∎ Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
