Job Responsibilities:
∎ Activities Plan out the supply chain for Bengal Meat and contract farming for cattle fattening in detail.
∎ Plan a farmer gathering and raise awareness through appropriate motivational activities and programs.
∎ Draw plan for future expansion of the programme.
∎ Set up the meeting, orientation, and training for the target farmer.
∎ Work with donor organizations to manage funds and get in touch with producers.
∎ Create the contract for the contract farmer or grower.
∎ Oversee and keep an eye on the bull/steer fattening area.
∎ Speak with the farmer about opening a bank account, submitting the required paperwork for the loan, and disbursing the loan.
∎ Maintain accurate records, compile a monthly, biweekly, or weekly report of program-related issues, and present it to the program leader. Additionally, make it easier for bank personnel to visit the farm of a contracted farmer.
∎ Directly supervise and guide the Field Facilitators.
∎ Physically visit contact growers.
∎ Visit different cattle hats, villages, individual farmers, cattle traders, brokers, NGOs and District Livestock Offices to collect information to conduct a thorough cattle sourcing value chain mapping and look for ways to eliminate intermediary cattle sources to gain price advantage in procurement.
