Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
∎ Training/Trade Course: Minimum 6 month Fire Safety Manager Course is mandatory
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidates must have sound knowledge of Building & Fire Safety Standards of Accord, Alliance, BNBC, NFPA & Fire Service Rules.
∎ Candidates should have Capability of Understanding, Designing & Implementing Fire Separation, Fire Detection & Fire Protection System / drawing according to the rules of BNBC and NFPA standard (As per Accord/Alliance requirements).
∎ Maintenance of all Fire equipment, i.e., Fire Pump, extinguishers, Hydrant, Sprinkler, etc.
∎ Manage and operate Chiller Plants, AC Plants, Water Treatment Plants, and other Utility peripherals.
∎ Candidates should have thorough knowledge about the different components & equipment of various types of Fire Fighting & Fire Prevention system.
∎ Ensure solving of Accord/Alliance review problems.
∎ Accomplishing all project-related works in scheduled time.
∎ Have good knowledge of Fire equipment materials.
∎ Capable of doing Testing, Commissioning & Supervision work on Fire Detection & Fire Protection.
∎ Fire Detection & Fire Protection System regular maintenance work and report preparation for Accord/Alliance.
∎ Ensure all activities within the assigned maintenance areas are strictly in compliance with all regulatory requirements
∎ Any other assignment related to health and safety as delegated by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Fire Service & Civil Defense (Retd) officials will be given preference.
∎ Should have Very good crisis management and problem-solving skills
∎ Candidates should have work experience with reputed & large Garments Factories as Head / In-charge of Entire Safety & Utility Management.
∎ Should be able to work independently and Contribute to Management as the Expert of its Overall Safety & Utility Management.
∎ Candidates should be a computer literate
Salary: Negotiable
