∎ • Professional certification in Engineering Management or related fields.
∎ • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
∎ • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and energy management systems.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Implementing Safety Protocols and Sustainability Initiatives:
∎ • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols such as Lockout-Tagout, Working at Heights, and other relevant practices within utility and factory maintenance operations.
∎ • Implement and drive sustainability initiatives to optimize energy usage and minimize environmental impact in utility and maintenance processes.
∎ Reviewing Designs and Ensuring Compliance:
∎ • Review and validate utility, building, and maintenance plans and specifications, ensuring they meet all relevant regulations and industry standards.
∎ • Evaluate supplier proposals for utility equipment and maintenance materials, ensuring they align with operational requirements and budget constraints.
∎ Managing Project Schedules and Budgets:
∎ • Develop and manage annual maintenance and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets, allocating resources effectively to meet operational needs.
∎ • Plan and schedule maintenance projects to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
∎ Ensuring Regulatory Compliance:
∎ • Ensure all utility, building, and maintenance operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards, including NFPA standards and local building codes.
∎ • Oversee the implementation of safety measures and equipment upgrades to maintain and exceed regulatory compliance.
∎ Monitoring Performance and Quality:
∎ • Conduct regular performance evaluations of utility systems and maintenance activities, identifying and implementing areas for improvement.
∎ • Monitor equipment performance metrics to ensure reliability, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
∎ Managing Maintenance Operations:
∎ • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for utility systems and factory equipment, aiming to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
∎ • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks and manage spare parts procurement as needed.
∎ Collaborating with Other Departments:
∎ • Work closely with production and engineering teams to address maintenance requirements for new construction projects and equipment installations.
∎ • Provide insights and recommendations on maintenance-related aspects of innovation and automation to ensure ease of maintenance and long-term reliability.
∎ Contributing to Operational Improvement Projects:
∎ • Lead initiatives to enhance utility systems for improved energy efficiency and cost savings.
∎ • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects focused on refining factory maintenance processes and enhancing overall reliability.
