Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To maintain co-ordination with the Director of Food & Beverage regarding all activities of Food & Beverage Section.
∎ Managing operations: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and front of house teams. This includes ensuring smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
∎ Menu development: Collaborate with chefs to create and evaluate menus that meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
∎ Inventory management: Purchase, control, and manage inventory levels to meet operational needs without excessive waste.
∎ Staff management: Hire, train, and manage staff, and provide performance feedback.
∎ Financial management: Monitor revenues and expenses, and control costs to enhance profitability.
∎ Health and safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
∎ Problem-solving: Be quick on your feet to solve problems that arise, such as when too much of an item is ordered.
∎ Business development: Plan new promotions and initiatives, and identify commercial opportunities to maximize income.
∎ Industry knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and concepts, including food trends and popular beverages.
∎ Customer engagement: Gather feedback from guests and implement improvements to dining experiences.
∎ To carry out any other duties as assigned by the higher authority.
