Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Review and guide credit analysts in preparing comprehensive credit proposals for RMG clients, ensuring proper risk assessment and alignment with bank policies.
∎ Supervise analysts in structuring appropriate loan products (e.g., back-to-back LCs, term loans, packing credit, EDF loans, bill discounting, and factoring).
∎ Ensure thorough financial statement analysis, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and working capital cycles of garments clients.
∎ Supervise proper industry risk assessments, focusing on buyer concentration risk, foreign exchange risk, compliance risk, and macroeconomic factors affecting RMG exports.
∎ Maintain liaison & correspond with the RM/BMs for meeting queries or clarification relating to credit proposals.
∎ Visit client's factory/outlets as and when required.
∎ Monitor analysts' Early Warning Signal (EWS) tracking to identify potential risks in the portfolio and take proactive action.
∎ Benchmark client performance against industry peers, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
