∎ JOB PURPOSE: To facilitate the effective and efficient implementation of behavior change and hygiene promotion and increase the hygiene expertise of programme staff by giving information through proper management in accordance with the culture and practices of the local population.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to WASH team on behavior change and hygiene promotion activities
∎ Ensure quality of implementation works by preparing BCC/IEC/guidelines
∎ Facilitate staff training for building capacity of project staff to achieve the project goal
∎ Supervision and monitoring of behavior change activities through regular field visit
∎ Development of implementable innovative ideas on hygiene promotion
∎ Support field operation team for implementation of hygiene promotion activities
∎ Prepare BCC report, budgetary allocation of different BCC materials and assist in writing project proposal
∎ Liaison with different government and non-government organizations and agencies
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong interpersonal and communications skills
∎ Presentation skills through multimedia in forum or meeting
∎ Computer Literacy (MS-Word, Excel, power point etc.)
∎ Excellent speaking and writing skill both in Bangla and English
∎ Negotiation and problem solving skills
∎ Knowledge about BCC/IEC materials development
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field
