Educational Requirements:
∎ The incumbent should have bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering/ Industrial Planning /Production Operations Management/textile engineering from any reputed local/ foreign university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Control production plan on the basis of SKU and job of an individual buyer for a fixed period of time/ shipment on the basis of factory capacity.
∎ Prepare master plan/ layout to load the new SKU wise product into the production floor.
∎ ? Manage SKU and production breakdown wise plan & Production Order Sheet (job bag).
∎ Analyze factory operational hit rate through planned and actual operation method exercise.
∎ Oversee planned versus actual production report to find out the variance and provide solutions accordingly.
∎ Supervise production work flow procedure and ensure control over the same through implementation.
∎ Implement new idea/ methods to the production floor to increase productivity, maintain cleanness and reduce SMV to improve quality.
∎ Prepare /analyze existing and forecasting capacity report in terms of manpower (direct), machine and materials.
∎ Manage the Sales Man Sample (SMS) production plan and confirm on time delivery.
∎ Oversee the balance of worker OT as parallel with production work load.
∎ Manage communication with Design & Development/ Production/ Material Control/ Merchandising department.
∎ Participate in PP/ operations meeting and provide recommendation in terms of production optimization, Standard Allocated Hours (SAH) and better way to allocate styles.
∎ Maintain the process in all machineries
∎ Propose S.M.V reduction/Cadre on costing stages
∎ Drive towards innovation and update management on Monthly Basis
∎ Forecast production budget and evaluate the expenditure in different WIP stage of production and monitor to comply.
∎ Check all IE related reports (time/method /motion/capacity study report of the floor on the basis of individual buyer).
∎ Manage the capacity expansion project.
∎ Recommend new ideas and methods for increasing productivity and improving quality.
∎ Conduct training for staff development & coaching in line with department objectives.
∎ Supervise production work flow procedure and ensure control over the same through implementation.
∎ Prepare /analyze existing and forecasting capacity report in terms of manpower (direct), machine and materials.
∎ Oversee the balance of worker OT as parallel with production work load.
∎ Participate in PP/ operations meeting and provide recommendation in terms of production optimization, Standard Allocated Hours (SAH) and better way to allocate styles.
∎ Maintain the auto function on Machines
∎ Drive towards innovation and update management on Monthly Basis.
∎ Propose S.M.V reduction/Cadre Quarterly Basis.
∎ Maintain the Set K.P.I
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 38 years
∎ 2-3 years in managerial position in garment industry.
∎ In-depth knowledge on capacity development through different studies, Production planning, garment structure and productivity, analytical ability, future forecasting, SMV , time and capacity study, knowledge on process control, operation and production management, critical path Methods, lead and time and lean management.
