∎ Medical Graduate (MBBS)/BDS from an accredited academic institution and recognized & registered by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), preferably with a master’s in public health (MPH) or any other discipline

∎ Sound knowledge on the Bangladesh Health and Nutrition system; experience in working with UN and other stakeholders in both development and emergency setting.
∎ Substantial experience in humanitarian health & Nutrition management including strong knowledge of health clusters and humanitarian architecture and systems.
∎ Experience of undertaking representational duties with WHO, donors and partners, and ministries of health at project and country level.
∎ Experience in managing multiple grants and budgets.
∎ Substantial experience in creating, planning, and managing budgets.
∎ Good understanding of the essential principles and reality of emergency supply chain operations, and commitment to ensuring strong integration and communication between supply chain and program design and planning before and during a deployment
∎ Excellent proposal development and donor report writing skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Opportunity: The Manager– Programme Operations is responsible for overseeing all of SC Health, Nutrition, and MHPSS programs for the Rohingya refugee response including the host community program. To ensure integrated Programmatic response, as per the direction of the Senior Programme Manager, S/he will work closely with cross-thematic departments to design all Health, Nutrition & MHPSS interventions by maintaining donor/member relationships throughout the program, development process, oversee implementation, ensure timely donor reporting. S/he will be key in driving the growth and expansion of SC all Health & Nutrition portfolio and provide support in the development of the health & Nutrition program response strategy in line with the Save the Children Rohingya Response Strategy, Health & Nutrition Sector Strategy, and other relevant national strategies and monitoring under the guidance of Senior Programme Manager. Furthermore, assisting proposal development and ensuring donor compliance is also a critical element of this role and provides necessary support to Manager- Quality Assurance & Improvement to ensure timely submission of donor narrative reports. S/he will support to Senior Programme Manager to manage all Health & Nutrition grants ensuring program funding spend in line with Save the Children policies, procedures, and donor requirements. This role will also involve representation of the organisation in various forums including the Health & Nutrition Sector, Working Group, Health & Nutrition SAG and the SRH working group, and other high-level related government forums at the Cox’s Bazar level. This position will also be responsible for supporting to Senior Programme Manager to manage Health, Nutrition and MHPSS team, and their activities for the Rohingya population in camps and host communities.
