Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ JCO from Defense with 03-05 years of working experience in Building Material/Heavy industries in a managerial Role
∎ Candidates other than Defense Personnel having minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Building Material/Heavy industries are also encouraged to apply.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fire safety Management, Security
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Cement Industry, Group of Companies, Steel
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and implement overall Security Department of the GPH ispat and always assist Head of Security in all aspects.
∎ Train the new Security Guard/Supervisor/Inspector/Officer and develop the security awareness among all Security Personnel of the Security Department.
∎ Check the duty rosters of the Security Guard/Supervisor/Inspector/Officer/Security In-charge at different plant/projects / Security Gate.
∎ Ensure that the security personnel are performing duties sincerely. And, time to time motivate them to uphold their morals.
∎ Assist Head of Security for preparing Security Manual, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or any other instruction of all posts, if applicable, Training Schedule, etc.
∎ Liaise with the emergency services, police station, highway police, fire service and local administration to resolve unusual issues.
∎ Pro-actively ensure the protection of foreign delegates, property and assets.
∎ Creating a safe, comfortable, working atmosphere/environment for employees and maintain good relationship with others.
∎ Make sure that no unauthorized personnel enter reserved company premises.
∎ Ensure all the vehicles coming inside the company premises are properly checked and parked in the proper place.
∎ Conduct scheduled surveillance by regular & frequent round in and around the plant premises to observe the overall security of the plants.
∎ Ensure overall safety & security of the men, matters, materials and information of the company.
∎ Develop and Monitor security related matters/system for the employees.
∎ To make sure proper security protocol for any high official and VIP visit including Guard of Honour.
∎ Ensure regular security training properly under the guidance of Head of Security for Security Guards/Supervisors/Inspectors/Officers.
∎ Provide demand for essential material/ equipment/ dress/ etc. as per requirement of security department for better service.
∎ Ensure security of materials in every site by regular checking and make sure the serviceability of all equipment.
∎ Understand site needs, maintain, and develop site security activities. And, responding to emergency situations as and when required.
∎ Report all incidents/accidents to the Head of Security/Advisor- Security & Logistics.
∎ Keep update information and maintain good communication with the appropriate person who are looking after the assets & property of GPH (outside of premises) and provide security support as and when required.
∎ Monitor closely with keen interest for all types of activities related to scrap carrying operation starting from port up to scrap yard of GPH Ispat and keeping liaison with other departments/agencies for smooth functioning of scrap carrying operation.
∎ Maintain strong bondage & good relationship with all layers of security personnel and work together as a strong & dedicated team for successful completion of any sort of activities.
