Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 4 years of working experience in a leadership position in a reputed RMG Industry.
∎ Candidate must have purchase knowledge of all types garments machinery, spare parts (Sewing, Thread, etc), Dyes, Chemical, Yarn, Fabrics, Trims & accessories. (Please donot need to apply, those who have no previous experience in this field).
∎ Communication skills in both English and Bengali in verbal and written.
∎ Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
∎ Highly self-motivated, self-directed and proactive.
∎ Should be sincere, honest and punctual.
∎ Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
∎ Should have proper communication skill with the team member and Senior Management at the same time.
∎ Strong vendor network across domestic and international of Garments related items.
∎ Expertise in MS Office (Word & Excel).
∎ Should be very good in reporting on time.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Applicant must be a good planner, organizer, lead and driver to handle large capacity of Procurement of the Garments Sector.
∎ Responsible for administering and executing procurement process regarding all types of goods, materials, machines & spare parts in line with purchasing procedures of Garments Division.
∎ Initiate and share ideas for developing different policies for procurement department, as well as advise to the management regarding revising the procurement related policies time to time.
∎ Ensure the participation of users and purchase committee members in the procurement process.
∎ Develop the Procurement Department’s appropriate SOP to run the department smoothly.
∎ Develop new Vendor/Supplier(s) to sustain price competitiveness & quality improvement.
∎ Develop and implement procurement strategies for yarn, chemicals, trims, and accessories.
∎ Source reliable and cost-effective suppliers while ensuring quality compliance.
∎ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors.
∎ Establish long-term relationships with key suppliers for a sustainable supply chain.
∎ Optimize supply chain processes to improve lead times and reduce transportation costs.
∎ Collaborate with the production and merchandising teams to align material procurement with production schedules.
∎ Forecast demand and plan supply chain activities accordingly.
∎ Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) and lean supply chain methodologies to enhance efficiency.
∎ Ensure all procurement and supply chain activities comply with Group’s rules & regulation as well as national and international standards.
∎ Identify risks related to supply disruptions and develop mitigation strategies.
∎ Maintain ethical sourcing and sustainable procurement practices.
∎ Lead and develop the purchase team, fostering a high-performance culture.
∎ Provide training and mentorship to enhance team performance capabilities.
∎ Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure continuous performance improvement.
∎ To maintain proper coordination with Head Office and Stakeholders on regular basis.
∎ Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
