∎ The applicants should have strong experience in nursery business sales & implementations in the following business area(s): 1. Landscaping/ plantation in large govt/private projects archive & implementations experience; 2. Tender eGP/ Others wining experience; 3. Agro Seed (OP & hybrid) Production/GM/ Package Processing experience; 4. All kinds of Indoor/ Tob plant (with their features) sales/ marketing experience in online/offline
∎ Experienced in eGP/ Other’s nursery relevant tender wining capabilities.
∎ Experienced in comparative cost/budget preparations with market scenario.
∎ Experienced in quality nursery plants and materials sourcing.
∎ Experienced in horticulture nursery management, production, sales will be given preference.
∎ Knowledge on nursery product production process, sales, basic horticulture, care of plant material, agronomy practices, disease & pest control management, action plan and distribution plan.
∎ Knowledge about wholesaling, retailing of plants and inventory management.
∎ Clear concept regarding climate changed concept with CO2 trade business.
∎ Excellent in report writing, budgeting, people management, work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment.
∎ Excellent leadership quality.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure budget planning, physical check of the inventory for the accurate physical balance and minimum damage / loss of the Nursery
∎ Achieve monthly sales target as per planned / budgeted yearly sales projection of nursery
∎ Execute technical management of nursery, organize variety wise production of quality saplings as production plan approved by H.O and ensure optimum utilization of land
∎ Examine plants for diseases, insects, wildlife damage, and weeds to protect the health of the plants
∎ Execute merchandising and ensure the implementation of Bar code/Tag
∎ Ensure the inventory and manage minimum damage / loss
∎ Pursuit relationship with external stakeholders to procure sales, organize fair & other promotional activities to achieve sales targets
∎ Supervise the staff and labor, look after their productivity, welfare and administrative issues
∎ Take measures to control the production cost of the nursery and ensure optimum utilization of overhead cost
∎ Prepare report timely as and when necessary
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
