Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for the hospital and its other facilities.
∎ Coordinate with various departments to understand their stock requirements and ensure timely procurement.
∎ Implement efficient inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce wastage.
∎ Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and comply with healthcare regulations.
∎ Implement quality control measures in the receiving, storing and issuing of materials.
∎ Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements and procurement activities.
∎ Develop contingency plans for emergency situations, such as supply shortages or sudden increases in demand.
∎ Ensure the availability of essential supplies during critical situations.
