Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
∎ Manage fleet utilization, maintenance, and fuel efficiency.
∎ Implement strategies to minimize transport costs and optimize routes.
∎ Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics flow.Compliance & Safety:
∎ Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all necessary licenses, permits, and insurance are up to date.
∎ Implement and enforce safety policies for drivers and transport staff.Route Planning & Optimization:
∎ Develop efficient delivery routes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
∎ Use GPS tracking and logistics software to monitor and optimize fleet movement.
