Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The Marking Assistant is responsible for marking and recording Kumon worksheets, assisting the instructor in providing observational support in instruction, distributing assignments (HW, CW, ORC etc) and parent consultation. In Kumon terms marking assistant is the eyes and hands of Kumon Instructor.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mark and record Kumon worksheets, conduct AT (Achievement Test) and Diagnostic Test (DT) as per Kumon marking guidelines.
∎ Supervise supplementary learning activities and conducting ZnZn classes (3 - 5 yrs of age).
∎ Conduct classes in Hybrid model (online/onsite): observe/support students while doing CW, Achievement Tests, mark and record results, listen to students read and record observations in the Kumon record book.
∎ Complete monthly survey, phone communication, data collection and reporting
∎ Participate enthusiastically in program activities arranged by BKL
∎ Participate in trainings and exams to develop further Kumon knowledge
∎ Conduct picking/setting and sorting worksheet deliveries.
∎ Work effectively and cooperatively with the overall team.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills, including substantive analysis and report writing skills.
∎ Outgoing and service oriented personality.
∎ Energetic and proactive (e.g. the ability to work well under pressure and multitask).
∎ Punctual, well organized and reliable.
∎ Have to be focused, diligent, and enjoy working with children of all ages (3 - 14).
∎ Have to be respectful and polite; show professionalism, punctuality, and a willingness to learn
∎ Minimum two (2) years experience is required
