Educational Requirements:

∎ Civil engineering graduate from public or private university with experience managing at least 2-3 large construction projects like Airport Runway Overlay/Runway construction works.
∎ Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
∎ Skills Required: Product Costing and budgeting, project coordination, Project Management

Job Context:
∎ We`re looking for Material & Quality Control Engineer with proven expertise in Runway Overlay/Runway construction works for the project of Asphalt Concrete Overlay on the Runway Surface.
∎ Job Location: Jashore Airport, Anywhere in Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinating with cross-discipline team members (CAAB and others stakeholder) to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
∎ Supervises the Maintenance Quality Coordinators by setting goals, writing performance evaluations and providing oversight of the Maintenance QA team.
∎ Develops and maintains, revises and keeps the Maintenance Quality Assurance (QA) plan current.
∎ Creates and maintains assessment schedules, trend logs, metrics all while overseeing and performing assessments, providing recommendations and preparing administrative items to ensure maintenance QA activities are planned and executed appropriately.
∎ Manages & inspects specified major maintenance service projects, contracts, work orders and preventive maintenance (PMs) for compliance with contract plans and specifications which can include custodial services, baggage handling system, landscaping, janitorial supplies, elevator, escalator and the compressed natural gas station operations and maintenance. Measures contract performance by using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
∎ Coordinates with contractors, overseeing their quality control testing, operation, maintenance activities, inspecting and evaluating their work against performance standards, permit/code requirements and other state and federal regulatory requirements.
∎ Observes and reviews all aspects and tasks of the contract for documentation and maintains records per contract.
∎ Ensures vendor/contractor oversight, quality control and contract evaluation meets the project and/or scope requirements.
∎ Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with key stakeholders including, governmental regulatory personnel, contractors, professional consultants, and other MNAA staff.
∎ Performs physical inspection of variety of discipline activities which may include but not limited to: buildings, electrical, HVAC and insulation, baggage belts, vehicles and heavy equipment.
∎ Creates and maintains monthly compliance reports and documents such as quality files, directives, general correspondences including, budgets, fuel reports, maintenance statistics, baggage handling systems, passenger boarding bridges, contractor payments, contractor-related inventory, etc.
∎ Ensures proper maintenance methods are used.
∎ Prepares and maintains maintenance quality assurance (QA) inspection records in a time conscious and time-effective manner.
∎ Maintains frequent and open lines of communication with key stakeholders, including airlines, tenants, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and other MNAA staff, as they apply to quality.
∎ Communicates effectively with internal and external business partners including highway construction, inspections, etc.
∎ Provides recommendations and suggestions on maintenance related issues.
∎ Observes, documents and reports all items of work performed for maintenance.
∎ Assists teams with purchase requisition approval, equipment, supply sourcing, and the budgeting process.
∎ Attends meetings to maintain airport operation awareness, represents Maintenance Management, as required.
∎ Preforms tasks and monitors contract(s) as a back up to other coordinator(s), as necessary.
∎ Maintains regular and on-time attendance.
∎ Follows all safety regulations.
∎ Supports MNAA's commitment to its culture and values, including Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence (RISE).
∎ Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 10 Years' Experience in Runway Overlay/Runway construction works
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Airport Runway Overlay/Runway construction works, MS Excel, Word
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Engineering Firms/Construction farm
∎ Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
∎ Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
∎ Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
∎ Understanding of ERP implementation.
∎ Experience overseeing a construction project.
