Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
∎ Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and reliability of machinery.
∎ Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, making necessary repairs in a timely manner.
∎ Execute welding tasks on various metal components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards.
∎ Use appropriate welding techniques and tools to join or repair metal components.
∎ Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and welding projects.
∎ Provide regular updates on work progress to supervisors and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Work closely with production staff to understand equipment needs and prioritize maintenance tasks accordingly.
∎ Coordinate with other team members to address cross-functional issues and ensure seamless operations.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
