Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS);
∎ Must have valid BMDC registration;
∎ Professional Certification: Master of Public Health (MPH)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Hospital or Diagnostic Centre, Medical College and Hospital
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct daily medical rounds, attend weekly/monthly meetings;
∎ Counsel the patients properly;
∎ To communicate with the Consultants regarding newly admitted patients;
∎ To prepare the doctors duty roster;
∎ Authorize admissions/treatment as per agreed protocols.
∎ Coordinating patient care plans by liaising with all necessary care providers and medical professions to ensure patient needs are met;
∎ Works to create efficient systems and workflows within the hospital;
∎ Supervise & monitor the activities of IMO/EMO, RMO & SMO;
∎ Communicate with clinical and management teams to execute and direct patient care services;
∎ Coordinate with all clinical disciplines to offer optimum patient care by using all resources;
∎ Manage use of medical resources for in-patient, out-patient and emergency services;
∎ Communicate & Coordinate with staff, patients, and consultants effectively;
∎ Communicate medical conditions to patients under clinical supervision;
∎ Meet with patients and patient families to ensure their needs are being met and resolve any issues or complaints that arise;
∎ Assists in Quality Improvement Program, including responding to patient complaints, infection control and the development of appropriate criteria to address quality improvement standards;
∎ Execute staff and patient satisfaction surveys;
∎ Develop Quality Improvement Committee and other Committees as required;
∎ Review medication, treatment log, medication discrepancy reports and treatment audit for accuracy.
∎ Maintain confidentiality of all information related to participants, medical staff and employees;
∎ Ensure a continuing in-service on job/off job training program;
∎ Strive to improve efficiencies of key operational areas;
∎ Report in time an individual staff or any patient problems to Director, Hospital
∎ Prepare regular reports for top management;
∎ The Medical Coordinator would be responsible for all personal actions concerning all cadres of Doctors including sanction of leave, annual performance appraisal and improving as well as assessing the skills of the Doctors on a regular basis;
∎ The job description may be changed/revised if the management deemed necessary;
∎ Perform any other duties & responsibilities assigned by the management as & when required.

∎ Age at least 30 years
