∎ Desirable two (02) years of clinical experience and previous experience in other NGO's. Desirable post graduate training in emergency medicine/internal medicine/pediatrics (6-month honorary training in tertiary level hospital)
∎ Experience in managing pediatric emergency, NCD-related emergencies, such as diabetic ketoacidosis, cardiac emergency (ECG interpretation and responding to cardiac emergencies, including use of defibrillators and rhythm management) hypertensive crisis, and decompensated heart failure in acute settings.
∎ Desirable Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
∎ Desirable Experience of working in ICU /HDU, PICU & NICU settings, especially with pre-term and LBW neonates, involving mechanical ventilation (CPAP/HFNO), hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care management

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevention. Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols;
∎ Keep the patient and/or his/her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood;
∎ Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized/IDP patients, through daily visits , consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments - in collaboration with other doctors- and informing their family about the patient's evolution;
∎ Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material. Assure general compliance with standing hygiene standards;
∎ Apply medical knowledge, skills to diagnose, and prevention. Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MSF protocols;
∎ Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized/IDP patients, through daily visits , consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments - in collaboration with other doctors- and informing their family about the patient's evolution;
∎ Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material. Assure general compliance with standing hygiene standards;
∎ Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or project coordinator about any problem or complication of the patients illness, medical error and monitors the proper functioning of the department, equipment or material;
∎ Ensure ongoing training of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team in order to optimize the quality of care;
∎ Knows and ensures all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are followed at all times and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control. Ensures professional confidentiality is respected;
∎ Manage the team under his/her direct responsibility according to MSF HR policies and procedures, supervising their performance, organizing and scheduling shifts and rotations, directly participating in emergencies and on calls if necessary.MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:
∎ Adhere to MSF treatment protocols and prescribing guidelines, including for the rational use of antibiotics. Collaborate with the antimicrobial focal person to interpret blood culture results and tailor antimicrobial therapy accordingly.
∎ Performs minor surgical procedures in ER as directed and approved by the clinic supervisor.
∎ As part of this position one may be required to work in the Health Post facilities, which are located inside the refugee camp.
∎ Guide the ER team to respond to emergencies (stabilization and referral) and collaborate with nurses, MA’s,  pharmacists, psychologists, and other health professionals to provide holistic care.
∎ Maintain appropriate and complete patient clinical documentation and participate in medical data collection, reporting, and analysis.Responsible for appropriateness of prescriptions in all services (including supervision of MA prescription in OPD).
∎ Provide high-quality, patient-centered care across inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and the emergency department. Conduct daily reviews of inpatients, ensure clear communication of diagnoses and treatment plans, and confirm patients' understanding of their illness. Maintain regular updates with patients and their families regarding ongoing care.
∎ Upon successful assessment of competencies and under appropriate supervision, assist in or independently perform minor procedures when required.
∎ Actively engage in clinical data collection, audit processes and medical incident reviews. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in patient records.
∎ Ensure effective communication across all points of care—during handovers, ward rounds, clinics, and emergency consultations. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. Prioritize clear, respectful communication with patients, families and all members of the healthcare team and responsible for communication with patient and caregivers (based on empathy and MSF principles and values)
∎ Provide advanced emergency and critical care to patients with trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and sepsis, resuscitation (including HBB) as required. using ACLS, ATLS, and BLS protocols.
∎ Manage critically ill patients in PICU/NICU/ ICU/HDU, and emergency settings, utilizing ventilation (CPAP/HFNO), airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring.
∎ Perform emergency procedures such as IO (Intraosseous) cannulation, decompression and defibrillation, ensuring timely intervention during acute deterioration.
∎ Perform emergency management and resuscitation (including HBB) as required.
∎ Participation in different clinical audits.
∎ Main Purpose:
∎ Provide outpatient and/or inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and up-dated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiaries health conditions.
