Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and supervise all MEP activities on-site, including mechanical, electrical, IT, and plumbing installations.
∎ Follow project plans, specifications and design documents to ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations and standards.
∎ Review and ensure coordination among the MEP contractors’ shop drawings, structural drawings, ID drawings and site conditions.
∎ Coordinate with the project manager, project engineer, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of MEP works.
∎ Follow and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion of MEP activities and resolving any delays or conflicts.
∎ Conduct regular site supervision to ensure the quality of MEP installations, identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies.
∎ Witness and check on-site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing, and other testing that may be required during the first fix works and advise the Project Director accordingly.
∎ Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, subcontractors, and vendors.
∎ Collaborate with the design team to review and implement MEP design changes and modifications as required.
∎ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
∎ Check and maintain documentation related to MEP activities, including drawings, specifications, progress reports, as-built records, etc.

∎ Meghna Hotel and Resorts Limited (MHRL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is going to build a country-leading Five Star Hotel & Resorts and Commercial Building with aesthetic and state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Dhaka City, Bangladesh. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MEP Engineer to join our project in Dhaka. The MEP Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, IT, AV, Fire Safety, Lifts, and other electromechanical systems. Activities are on-site under the Project In charge, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. The position will report to his/her line manager.
