Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and maintain the critical path for all woven product lines, outlining key milestones and deadlines for each stage of the production process.
∎ Liaise with cross-functional teams including design, sourcing, production, and logistics to coordinate activities and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
∎ Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely procurement of materials, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with production schedules.
∎ Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the production process to maintain product integrity and meet quality standards.
∎ Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the production process and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions and minimize impact on delivery schedules.
∎ Work closely with the finance department to monitor production costs, analyze cost variances, and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality or timelines.
∎ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing product safety, labeling, and environmental sustainability.
∎ Generate reports and provide regular updates on project status, including progress against milestones, production timelines, and any issues or delays encountered.
∎ As a Merchandiser - Critical Path Manager specializing in woven products, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the critical path process from product conception to delivery. You will work closely with various departments such as design, sourcing, production, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure that all stages of the merchandise lifecycle are executed efficiently and on schedule. Your primary objective will be to minimize lead times, optimize production schedules, and ensure product quality and compliance with company standards and regulations.
