Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Textile Technology
∎ At least a Graduate from a recognized university having science background.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a Merchandiser he/she is required to work independently in accordance to company proceedings.
∎ Responsible for purchasing all fabrics and trims required for development and bulk.
∎ MUST HAVE SUFFICIANT KNOWLEDGE ABOUT WOVEN & KNIT GARMENTS QUALITY.
∎ Will be required to handle orders and follow up KNIT & WOVEN GARMENTS.
∎ Will be required to ensure all items are on site on time.
∎ Develop a good working relationship with all the vendors and buyer.
∎ Will be working with overseas vendors & buyer.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Textile Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile / Garments Marketing
∎ Post educational Merchandising experience of minimum 2 years.
∎ Exposure in woven & knit fabric / garment category.
∎ Fair / reasonable knowledge in Washing & Production.
∎ English Literate (as they will interact with the buyer directly) & Computer literate.
∎ Organized, flexible and good at managing changing or challenging priorities/timelines/workload.
∎ Good self management styles the buying requirements will vary during the season.
∎ Effective team worker. & quick and enthusiastic to learn.
Salary: Negotiable
