Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor's Degree from any reputed university.
∎ Technical qualification on Textile/ Fashion Design will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fabric Merchandising
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Professional communication in English with overseas and local fabric supplier.
∎ Must have sound knowledge of Knit Fabric, experienced in Woven fabric will also be an added advantage.
∎ Sample fabric follow up.
∎ Preparing internal order sheets.
∎ Preparing purchase orders in ERP system.
∎ Getting approvals on lab dips and follow up.
∎ Advising and assisting production and quality department.
∎ Taking responsibility of fabric inspections.
∎ Monitor opening of BTB- LC's (by the factory) and processing of shipping documents; follow-up with Forwarder, Shipping Agent, liaison with Bank etc.
∎ Material or stock Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Well written and spoken English Skill (must needed).
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply.
∎ Need to visit other unit of factory if required.
∎ Should be able to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
∎ Should be proficient in the use of computer, e.g. MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.
∎ Knowledge in ERP will be an added advantage.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure.
