∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Labor Law, Corporate Responsibility, Social Compliance, ACCORD and Sustainability.The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile.
∎ Must have ability to prepare all reports and correspondences with stakeholders in English.
∎ Independent and able to take decision in critical situation.
∎ Ability to find out the nonconformity and to take proper measures to address the noncompliance issues and present a solution to make it sustainable.
∎ Passion for sustainability and desire to make a difference to how the future fashion operating model.
∎ Good knowledge & experience in apparel manufacturing and retail.
∎ Ideally previous related work experience/internships in sustainability, supply chain, product development, fabric/raw material, and corporate social responsibility in the apparel industry preferred.
∎ Up to date with the latest sustainability trends, best practices, and textile processes.
∎ Ability to build clear, confident, positive communication with company colleagues and suppliers with the ability to form relationships, influence, and work collaboratively across the business.
∎ Technology skills and experience to develop robust tracking.
∎ To have strong knowledge on Social Compliance, Labour Law & Rules, Factory Act, Fire Act, ILO conventions, Buyer's code and conduct pertaining to protocols in RMG & Textiles industry.
∎ Good interpersonal, influencing, listening, organizational, presentation and decision-making skills.
∎ Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, quickly and efficiently.
∎ Excellent communication skills & fluent in English - written & verbal.
∎ Good time management.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overall follow-up, i.e. product development to shipment.
∎ Knowledge of perfect costing, sourcing of trims & accessories, fabrics to be in house before bulk production starts. Pricing, negotiation and order confirmation.
∎ Knowledge about Fabric consumption, Knitting, Dyeing, Sewing to Shipment process.
∎ Monitor and ensure competitive quotations are obtained from appropriate sources for potential programs and follow up with buyers on order confirmation.
∎ Monitor sample development and production to meet buyer requirements.
∎ Communicating with Buyer for technical clarification, when required.
∎ Review fit and pre-production & Production samples with the Garment technical department, to ensure that all key comments are followed. Prepare purchase orders, internal order & costing sheets.
∎ Maintain Weekly progress reports, with up to date information on all orders & outstanding issues. Need to proactively inform to head of merchandising up to date on any exceptions.
∎ Follow up & Coordination with Production, Quality and Commercial Department and on time shipments.
∎ Prepare purchase orders, internal order & costing sheets.
∎ Knowledge to update information to the software
∎ Frequently travel to factories to the different location of BB
∎ Any other responsibility as and when assigned by the management.
