Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Textile Engineering/ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Merchandising.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and deal with the Buyers independently for all the merchandising activities including marketing, sales, instant price quotation, negotiation and sourcing.
∎ Arrange all kinds of yarns, fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for sampling and production by leading a team effectively.
∎ Keep liaison with Buyer for all the merchandising activities like order booking, processing, order follow up & export planning.
∎ Maintain various documents (buyer wise, style wise, order wise).
∎ We are looking for Manager- Merchandising for Woven as well as Knits
∎ Very Strong Knowledge on costing, price negotiation, sourcing of fabrics, accessories & any other material local & import.
∎ Regular monitoring of the production lines/factories to achieve for timely shipment.
∎ Daily basis update to divisional head & others concerns in own accord.
∎ Follow up the order by using the Order Follow-up System and use deadlines as a help to keep track of order status.
∎ Understand supplier capability in terms of price, quality, capacity and lead time.
∎ Independently prepare Time and Action (T&A) plans & Follow up accordingly.
∎ Monitor the production status and progress, solve the related issue.
∎ Follow up on Developments, Samples and Production with a high degree of personal responsibility.
∎ Monitoring of overall activities of suppliers, commercial, shipping, quality checking of goods, etc.
∎ Make sure smooth production and shipment on time.
∎ Work close with production units to ensure what buyer requires.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Minimum 15 years' experience including 5 years' minimum experience as Manager in Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Woven and Knit Garments, Merchandising.
∎ Must have computer knowledge.
∎ Capable to work under pressure.
∎ Good command of spoken and written English.
