Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, the MEL Coordinator for Faridpur is responsible for supporting BNA partners and staff to collect monitoring data in the project's target district. This may include, but is not limited to, the following:
∎ Coordinate, support, and provide MEL technical assistance with feedback to partner organization, grantees, privet sectors and government agency for managing the collection of MEL data in the target district.
∎ Support in designing data collection tools, schedules, analysis methods, and applied learning approaches for stakeholder training.
∎ Conduct data verification exercises including data review, interviews or routine monitoring visits to project sites, to ensure data quality and aggregate data at the sub-region level.
∎ Conducting pertinent data analysis for informed decision-making and assisting in following up on implementation of recommendations.
∎ Assist in implementing the project MEL Plan, indicators, and learning agenda, including developing relevant indicators.
∎ Contribute to develop, monitor and manage project performance monitoring data to ensure generating the various report.
∎ Help in managing a rigorous approach to MEL to measure performance toward specific goals and objectives, including quantitative, qualitative, and participatory methodologies.
∎ Prepare and support activities related to Data Quality Assessment. Lead the capacity building initiative for MEL focal as well as non-MEL staffs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of professional experience supporting monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, preferably on USAID-funded projects
∎ Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques
∎ Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational, and computer skills
∎ Knowledge of MEL and experience with M&E frameworks and reporting systems.
∎ Experience with USAID programming highly preferred
∎ Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other MS Office software; preferable data analysis software (SPSS/ Stata).
∎ Verbal and written fluency in both English and Bangla along with strong communications, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
