∎ 5 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities and duties in program monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Knowledge on MEAL and of standard organization policy and procedure.
∎ Knowledge on ASRH, related intervention, life skill education and livelihood for young.
∎ Effective communication skills to manage across teams in challenging contexts, strong interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with teams, local counterparts, donors, and other stakeholders to achieve results.
∎ Fluency in Bangla & English are required both orally and in writing.
∎ Competent and dedicated staff that can be reached for feedback.
∎ Excellent communication, networking and analytic writing skills.
∎ Computer Literacy with capacity of communication through digital means.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead project monitoring component to support efficient implementation of the project in collaboration with organization, government stakeholders and donor.
∎ Maintain accurate compliance records and reports along with promote understanding of monitoring compliance responsibilities and expectations amongst team members as per organizational M&E policy and Donor requirement.
∎ Plan and micro plan the designed project monitoring activities, designed new initiatives to appropriately monitor activities as per area and set target against goal and sub goals.
∎ Follow the project result matrix appropriately while implementing and tracking progress as per the set target.
∎ Develop baseline and end line plan and support the project for implementing those activities in time.
∎ Identify the research need as per schedule and conceptualize the theme with technical support from expert.
∎ Ensure day to operation monitoring through deploying advance tools in an effective way.
∎ Ensure effective communication and collaboration with local authority of DGFP (specially FP MIS), DGHS, selected schools, department of education, local government institutions (LGI), department of youth, MOWCA, administration and private partners to leverage support in activity planning, advocacy and implementation.
∎ Support implementation of DASCOH life skill and livelihood training centre as per the project planned to create a complete training monitoring plan and evaluation.
∎ Responsible for regular reporting and documentation and communication as per organization and donor need.
∎ Engage with community and school forum member to motivate them using different way and means of accessing information, IT use and accessing digital platform.
∎ Identify research need from the project implementation experience and conceptualize the idea for further study.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ DASCOH Foundation is a non-government and non-profitable organization. Utilizing local knowledge of the people at grass root and available resources at local level, DASCOH has put forward an alternative participatory development process. It has developed a professional workforce with flexible decision-making capacity. DASCOH is using supportive supervision & coaching method to develop human capital and thus helping to develop the capacity of local government institutions, which is reflected in the project planning and management with local government, private sector, donors and the community. Currently, it operates ten projects, covering the thematic areas of health, climate adaptation, human rights, quality education, livelihood improvement, etc. mainly covering Rajshahi division but all over the country. Several projects are ongoing in the thematic areas and information technology support are required for innovation, monitoring, analysis and showcasing good practices and achievements.
∎ DASCOH is seeking application from qualified individual for the role of Monitoring Officer (MO) for its “Improving young people’s access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through a community- based approach and cooperation with state institutions” (A-EMPOWER) project which aims to improving the sexual and reproductive health and rights of adolescents in Rajshahi, Chapainawabgonj and Naogaon Districts of Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh in line with SDG 3.7 "Ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning, information and education, and mainstream reproductive health into national policies and programs.
∎ The incumbent will support the organization by monitoring the field implementation of the project in coordination with the organizational management, government stakeholders, donors, partners and other stakeholders. S/he will be responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness and compliant implementation of activities. S/he will provide a broad range of project management, operations, and technical support to the project implementation and advocacy with different authorities for several planned activities for expected result.
