∎ Bachelor/Honors
∎ Graduate in Environmental/General Science/Engineering from a reputed local/foreign university/college.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum two-year HSE field work experience in oil and gas/petro-chemical industry or similar industrial or construction setting.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work in a multi-cultural team.
∎ Computer proficiency with MS Office applications.
∎ Strong verbal and written English communication skills required.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Act as Facility Safety Officer and ensure safe work practice compliance of Dhaka based activities.
∎ Participate in Permit Meetings and provide safety oversight on work site.
∎ Participate in tool box meetings, review onsite JSA and ensure PPE and safety devices are used appropriately.
∎ Conduct Safety Inspections and incident Investigations as needed.
∎ Monitor compliance to company standards/procedures and provide facility management recommendations for performance improvement.
∎ Coordinate with Process Advisors to provide support for the OE Management System implementation, such as Incident Investigation & Analyses JSA, Safe Work Practices etc.
∎ Communicate to affected personnel OE Processes and procedure information and requirements.
∎ Prepare slides presentations and conduct meetings as required.
∎ Analyze incidents to determine root causes and trend and recommend preventive actions.
