Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Direct students to the appropriate OAA faculty member based on their queries
∎ Provide academic guidance and personalized support to new students and those on probation
∎ Track academic performance and follow up with students who miss advising sessions
∎ Oversee mentor activities and ensure smooth execution of ice-breaking, pre-mid, and post-mid sessions
∎ Gather and clean data related to student advising, attendance, and performance
∎ Analyze student performance data using statistical tools and provide insights
∎ Develop charts and figures using Excel to present data insights
∎ Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports summarizing student progress and advising effectiveness
∎ Ensure compliance with University’s data security policies in handling student records
∎ Continuously learn about trends in academic advising and data analysis techniques
