Education:
∎ B.Sc in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Polymer Science/Textile Engineering from any University.
∎ B.Sc in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Polymer Science/Textile Engineering from any University.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ 2 years’ experience in procurement/textile/analytical chemistry field. Fresher is also okay if the candidate is good enough.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Procurement of dyes/chemicals: This includes but not limited to cross-examining requisitions from factories, negotiating with suppliers, taking approval from Management, ordering materials, processing bills and payments, etc.
∎ Claim settlement: Process the collection of claim amounts from suppliers that may arise due to quality issue or demurrage.
∎ Follow up shipments: Keeping contact with suppliers, vendors so that materials are shipped on time.
∎ Follow up commercial documents: Procurement officer has to ensure that shipping documents are shared with commercial department before any demurrage is incurred.
∎ Maintaining statements: Maintaining various statements related to procurement and shipments.
∎ New development: Sourcing and development of new dyes, chemicals for factories with a view to reducing production cost.
