∎ Graduate in Textile Engineering with a focus in Yarn or Fabric Manufacturing/Engineering from a well-reputed institute.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: PGDSCM

∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fabric Merchandising, Fabric Sourcing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Fabric Sourcing, Vendor development & Vendor Selection.
∎ Make CS for Management Approval.
∎ Follow-up PO and payment orders.
∎ Maintain daily communication with overseas offices and mills with fabric inquiries
∎ Follow up LC details and coordinate with suppliers and the commercial department.
∎ Analyze all suppliers and due diligence while taking decisions.
∎ Review merchandising plans and maintain calendar timing.
∎ Assist in scheduling fabric and supplier appointments as and when required.
∎ Conduct market research, surveys and market comparisons for better understanding and decision-making.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 36 years
∎ At least 2 years' experience in Fabric Sourcing and Development in a reputed buying office or textile mill.
∎ Strong technical knowledge of yarns, fabrics, print processes, knit/woven construction, fabric finishes, washing techniques and an analytical understanding of color is essential.
∎ Having existing contacts and relationships with a wide range of fabric suppliers will be an added advantage.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English.
∎ IT proficiency - Advanced level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
