Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To lead the Quality control function through its staff ensuring full and strict adherence and compliance to the cGMP, Policies, Procedures, and Prevailing local and international guidelines instilling quality in the heart of everything the Microbiology Team do.
∎ Manage and coordinate staff performing microbiological testing in support of manufacturing processes.
∎ Provide technical leadership and daily oversight of the QC microbiology laboratory functions.
∎ Microbiological sampling and analysis of water, raw materials and finished products.
∎ Write, evaluate, and approve deviation/investigation reportsMicrobiological method validation.
∎ Calibration and validation of microbiological laboratory equipment.
∎ Preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedure, General Test Procedure, and Standard Test Procedure.
∎ Conduct annual reviews for direct reports and assist in setting performance objectives
∎ Order and maintain inventory of laboratory reagents, media, and supplies Procure and qualify new equipment in the laboratory
∎ Review change controls, incidents, protocols, and deviations related to microbiology
