Educational Requirements:
∎ At a minimum a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in international development, agriculture, economics, public health, nutrition or a related field.

∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute, together with the Technical Director, WASH Technical Lead, and the DCOP, to the development of an oversight strategy and plan.
∎ Lead the implementation of the oversight plan, reporting back to the IP Technical Director on any observed successes and challenges, and making recommendations for improvement in any technical areas, with copies to the DCOP;
∎ Prepare monthly achievement reports on Results 1 and 2 on behalf of the Technical Director, including highlighting successes and challenges, for the information and action of the DCOP.
∎ Coordinate the timing and delivery of refresher trainings, as required, to improve IP staff competencies, where challenges may exist;
∎ Provide support to the IP Technical Director in tracking progress made in IP work plans.
∎ Ensure integration of cross-cutting program activities with the sub-regional team, including for livelihoods, nutrition and hygiene, community and local governance, and social inclusion and behavior change programing;
∎ Report back any financial or administrative concerns that may arise to IP Technical Director, and subsequently to BNA F&A Director, so that monthly reviews undertaken by BNA Grants Manager will be targeted towards areas for further improvement;
∎ Work closely with the Technical Director and Finance and Compliance team in Dhaka to ensure timely and correct processing of all grants applications and awards.
∎ Other duties as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years of experience in community development, community engagement, or community mobilization. Includes working with local government officials and civil society organizations. Some experience in linking farmers and communities to market opportunities preferred.
∎ At least 3 years of progressively more responsible program management experience.
∎ Demonstrated leadership, team building and team management leading to high quality work in a timely, cost effective manner.
∎ Strong management and planning skills of project tasks and budgets.
∎ Excellent writing, organizational, interpersonal communication and computer skills.
∎ Experience with USAID-funded programs.
∎ Verbal and written fluency in English.
