Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ Candidates having Bachelors Degree in CSE, EEE or Mechanical Engineering will have added advantage
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To support the Head of Performance Engineering in the discharge of his duties
∎ Take-off and Landing performance analysis for specific aircraft types using Manufacturer applications.
∎ EFB Performance application administration for specific aircraft fleet.
∎ Assist with ‘Route and Aerodrome Assessment’, Preparation of Aerodrome SOP, Payload Analysis and Safety Risk Assessment.
∎ Assist with Route Studies including Drift-down and Depressurization Analysis.
∎ Assist with Engine Out Standard Instrument Departure (EOSID) creation, analysis, and validation.
∎ Analysis of Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) changes and advise actions relevant to flight crew action or EFB performance application guidance for the impacted process.
∎ Validation of Airport Database.
∎ Validation of FMS Navigation Database. Communication of changes and discrepancies relevant to flight crew through COMPANY NOTAMs.
∎ Assist in maintaining the Flight Planning system administration as per company policies for Safety and Economy of Flight Operations (Aircraft database, fuel policy, escape routes, and inputs for Cost Index calculation as per operating costs)
∎ Validation of Aeronautical Charts.
∎ Assist with calculation of Aerodrome Operating Minima as per applicable regulations.
∎ Assist with evaluating aircraft and associate engine performance configurations.
∎ Preparation of sector-wise advisory fuel padding for taxi and holding fuel.
∎ Assist with Fuel Efficiency Monitoring, Analysis, and recommendation of appropriate action for overall economics of operation using fuel efficiency application.
∎ Assist with preparation of yearly fuel budget and monthly tracking of actual fuel consumption versus budgeted fuel consumption.
∎ Aircraft Performance Monitoring: Monthly monitor the parameters and inform to HoPE about the aircraft degradation (Performance Factor) of affected aircrafts for flight planning and coordinate with engineering to minimize the deterioration.
∎ Assist with Management, Testing and recommend upgradation of OEM Applications and databases (e.g., PEP, OPT, FOS, Aircraft Performance Databases etc).
∎ Provide specialist support for Special Operations projects including regulatory compliance documentation (Special Operations Job Aids / Regulatory Compliances - EFB /ADS-B/EDTO etc.)
∎ Assist in Regulatory Audits (IOSA, CAAB, Internal etc.)
∎ Assist in preparations of Operations Manual data relevant to Aircraft Performance, Special Operations etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Must be proficient in M/S Office
∎ Must be well acquainted with regular computing and Internet applications used in modern days
∎ Should be a team player & ability to work independently as well
∎ Strong sense of discipline
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities
∎ Must be willing and prompt to speak up with creative ideas
∎ Strong multi-tasking ability and a keen eye for prioritization
∎ Should have proficiency (reading, writing & listening) in both Bangla & English.
