Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 40 years
∎ Minimum 03 years of work experience in relevant field (plumbing and water supply).
∎ Prior similar work experience in the Rohingya refugee camps or rural area will be preferred.
∎ Ability to speak in Bangla, English, and Cox’s Bazar local language (written / verbal).
∎ Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision and lead a Rohingya volunteer team - Dynamism - Mindset to coach the team and community about WSP and Plumbing works.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the full-phase functionality of the water distribution network, pipelines and Tap-stands.
∎ Identify and resolve any leaks in the transmission line or other repair needs in the distribution system.
∎ Having Necessary civil work related to Water tap stand repair.
∎ Report any kind of non-functionality immediately to the OSSS Supervisor and Water Sanitation Expert.
∎ Possess knowledge of the water network system of ADB-funded DPHE water networks and generators.
∎ Find alternative solutions to ensure the smooth flow of water at tap stands in case of gravitational fluctuation.
∎ Understand the connection mechanisms of HDPE pipes, including fittings, alignment, cutting, de-burring, welding, and joining.
∎ Support the OSSS Supervisor in estimating necessary pipe fittings for purchase requisitions.
∎ Coordinate with O&M committees and provide any required technical support.
∎ Be able to prepare the HTH chlorine "mother solution."
∎ Monitor water supply and quality daily according to sectoral standards, focusing on pump, water demand, and FRC tests.
