∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Having the strong understanding on management of procurement compliance.
∎ Experience of working in the rural areas under multiple supervision mechanisms and to produce outputs within tight deadlines in a very busy environment.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation skills;
∎ Purchase goods required for official purpose maintaining national and international compliance standard;
∎ Ensure systematic inventory by assisting relevant team members;
∎ Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of all procurement and supply documents;
∎ Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the integrity of the organization;
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Internet Browsing, Email writing etc.;
∎ Proven knowledge in the govt. laws and guidelines on VAT and Tax.
∎ Experience working with marginalized community including persons with disabilities, representatives of local government and local administration,
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
∎ Have technical skill on screening the value, quality and price of the products related to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.
∎ Ability to work as part of a team,
∎ Good level verbal and writing communication skill in English and Bangla Language,
∎ Computer skill (MS Word, Excel, Internet Operations etc.) is mandatory.


Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Development of the procurement related documents;
∎ Review the purchase requisition (PR) with necessary budget provision and approval;
∎ Prepare Purchase Proposal (PP), Comparative Statement (CS) and Purchase Order (PO) for Procurement and take necessary approval from the authority
∎ Ensure quality control of procured goods;
∎ Manage and coordinate procurement as per guidelines and procedures of CDD and donor agencies compliance
∎ Involve in procuring goods and services through direct, quotation or tender process and also framework agreement with vendors as required
∎ Logistics support to organizing workshops and seminars;
∎ Manage all contracts including supply, transport and rental contracts
∎ Ensure the supply of the products for the project offices of CDD;
∎ Ensure full support to the repair and maintenance related activities of the office items and logistics based on the requirement placed by the project team.
∎ Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
∎ Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
∎ Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.

∎ CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Procurement Assistant’ under a project named ‘Strengthening local climate-sensitive and universal WASH capacities using and disseminating the Green Humanitarian Aid approach’. A Procurement Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring logistics for the project office as well as support materials to the project participants to be provided by the project. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, compliance handling skills, quick decision making capacity and the ability to work effectively in the field. The duration of the project is till 31st October 2026.
∎ The selected candidate will initially be hired for a three-month probationary period. Upon successful completion of this period, his/her employment contract will be renewed on an annual basis.
