Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Follow up on product safety requirements for Walmart.
∎ Maintain and enforce Needle Control Policy, Metal Detector Machine Control Policy, Sharp Tools Object Control, and other safety policies.
∎ Assess potential risks and safety hazards in all aspects of operations.Implement preventive measures to mitigate identified risks.
∎ Conduct regular checks on safety protocols including moisture control, lab tests, health hazards element control, and label control.
∎ Train production workers on the safe use of sharp tools and other safety issues.
∎ Provide specialized training to Metal Detector Machine Operators, Needle Control Personnel, Button Pull Test Machine Operators, and Fusing Machine Operators.
∎ Conduct regular awareness sessions and refreshers on product safety and compliance.
∎ Regularly check and maintain the Broken Needle/Needle Replacement Register, Metal Detector Machine Calibration & Production Reports, and Contaminated Garments Disposal Log.
∎ Maintain sharp tools inventory and register, Button Pull Test Machine Calibration Reports, Pull Test Audit Reports, and Button Pinch Setting Reports.
∎ Preserve all test reports and quality inspection reports for traceability and compliance purposes.
∎ Conduct and/or supervise various tests including nickel testing, tearing tests of thread, stitch strength tests, color fastness tests, rubbing tests, pH tests, AZO tests, fusing temperature and bond strength tests, bowing/screw tests, and spirality/torque tests.
∎ Ensure all tests are performed accurately and results are documented.Prepare and maintain documentation for buyer's technical audits and traceability audits.Manage and oversee the compliance for FCCA Audits, PSA Audits, Brand Protection Audits, and SCAN Security Audits.
∎ Context:
∎ The Product Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring all products meet the highest safety standards as per customer expectations. This role involves assessing risks, enforcing safety policies, conducting regular training, and maintaining strict control over production safety measures.
∎ Responsibilities:
